A 13-year-old girl has been arrested over the murder of a man who confronted a group of youths in Essex.
Darren Kelly, 42, was stabbed to death in Basildon on Tuesday night after getting into an argument with the group. The lorry driver staggered to a block of flats after the incident in the street, where he rang the doorbell of a neighbour, the Daily Star reports.
Despite his neighbours best efforts to save him while the ambulance came, he trgaically died at around 9.30pm.
As well as the 13-year-old, a 20-year-old man, 17-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl from Pitsea, and a 16-year-old boy from Basildon have been arrested on suspicion of murder, according to Essex Police.
