Gruesome images of the man who allegedly shot dead five police officers and injured seven others have been leaked online.
Police battled for several hours with former U.S Army Reserve soldier Micah Johnson, after he allegedly targeted officers at an anti-gun protest following the fatal shootings of two black men.
Johnson is reported to have told police he wanted to gun down more white people before he was eventually killed by a robot bomb.
Grim images have now appeared online seeming to show Johnson’s dead body, reports the Daily Star.
The image was allegedly sent to lawyer and author Mike Cernovich by an unnamed source, however it has now appeared on social media with the caption, ‘Leaked from Dallas, Micah Johnson after robotic bomb detonation’.
Another photo of a Saiga AK-74 style semiautomatic rifle – the weapon allegedly used by Johnson – has also emerged on specialist website thearmsguide.com.
Their report states:
A source tells thearmsguide.com that when Dallas SWAT made entry after the detonation of the explosive device, they encountered a Saiga AK-74 style semiautomatic rifle on the floor among the rubble.
The weapon had a 30 round magazine, single point sling, Magpul folding stock and a rail system with a Primary Arms 5 power scope.
Crucially, the images do remain unverified and the Dallas police department have not been available for comment as yet.
