A man wearing only a Spiderman mask and his birthday suit has been arrested and put on the sex offenders register after he exposed himself to two teenage girls in a park in Birmingham. Okay then.
A court in Solihull, Birmingham has heard how 27-year-old Vincent Lam approached two teenage girls, both aged 16, wearing just the mask. He was later caught by a police officer, fully clothed, but with the mask sticking out of his jacket pocket.
The two girls were walking through Shirley Park in Solihull when they spotted Lam ahead of them heading for some bushes. As they got closer, he re-emerged as the superhero, apparently dancing from side to side. The girls promptly turned around before calling the police.
Lam has been fined £100, put on the sex offenders register, ordered to pay £100 costs and a £180 criminal court surcharge. Nicola Purches, defending, said that he had previously done well at University, but became depressed stuck in a job he didn’t want to do.
A lot of people hate their jobs mate, but there are better ways to deal with it than scaring teenage girls and sullying Spiderman’s good name.
