A married high school English teacher has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old student.
Sarah Domres, who taught at New Berlin West High School, Wisconsin, is alleged to have slept with the boy on 15 occasions, reports the Daily Mail.
The relationship is believed to have started in May 2015 when the teen was a virgin, but police did not start investigating until a concerned friend of the boy reported Domres in January.
Police have uncovered over 1,000 text messages exchanged between the pair, plus a Google search asking ‘what’s the prison sentence for a teacher sleeping with a student’.
A number of the inappropriate messages have been revealed where Dormes refers to the boy repeatedly as ‘baby boo’.
One message read:
Hopefully you’ve been thinking of me Baby Boo. I should go because he will be home soon. I love you. Be good, think of me and no one else! Ha ha.
You’re extremely attractive to me!!! I can’t wait for our night we are doing it no matter what!!!
Domres also encouraged the teen not to reveal their affair, even if it didn’t last:
I love you, too, baby and will forever. I’m just saying that if you ever don’t, please still love me enough as a person to know how much that’d hurt me. You are amazing and mean the world to me. I want to be yours forever.
The pair reportedly held most of their illicit meetings in a park-and-ride car park, but also in a Motel 6 on the night Domres’ husband-to-be held his stag party.
Her husband allegedly caught his cheating wife with the boy on one occasion which led to a verbal confrontation, but despite her arrest has stood by her.
Domres is currently on bail of $1,000 and faces up to 12 years in prison.
