Ticket to Jake Paul v. Mike Tyson fight for $2,000,000 has people saying it's a 'waste' after seeing what's included

People can't believe what is included for $2 million

Mike Tyson's return to the ring to face Jake Paul this summer is perhaps one of the weirdest bouts to ever take place.

However, an awful lot of people are interested in the fight - I mean, who wouldn't be - which probably explains why there's a ticket worth $2 million to watch it.

But before all of that, when is the fight taking place?

Well, it was announced back in March that the pair would duke it out in a bout broadcast on Netflix.

Along with a pretty intense trailer, the official Netflix X account announced: "It’s Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson — yes, really! — in a LIVE BOXING event at AT&T Stadium you won’t want to miss.

"Airing live on Netflix Saturday, 20 July."

The fight - which has been sanctioned as a professional fight - will feature eight rounds, consisting of two minutes each, with Most Valuable Promotions, a company co-owned by Paul, promoting the event.

And for the special occasion, they are offering a unique $2 million package - something that they claim has 'never been offered' before in the boxing world.

So what can you expect to get for that hefty price?

As reported by Dextero, the very pricey package also includes four first-row floor seats for the event, four second-row floor seats, and a pre-fight locker photo with both Paul and Tyson - among other things.

I mean for that price, the least I'd expect is a photo.

On top of that, those who purchase the ticket also receive signed gloves by both Paul and Tyson, and a two-night luxury penthouse stay in the same hotel as the boxing pair, as well as VIP lounge access and seating for the main events during the week of the fight.

But despite seeing what's included, many fans have dubbed the package a 'waste'.

"Wow, what a waste of $2million," one person on X penned.

A second added: "$2m worth of ticket should include Toyota spider, 2024 model and also 5 free trip to any countries of your choice to spend your summer."

A third added: "That’s a very high ticket. This fight might be the biggest fight.'

While a fourth claimed they 'should be able to sneak punch Jake Paul mid fight' for that price.

Despite the high price tag, another social media user doesn't think the promoter will have a problem in selling the ticket.

"People have a lot of money .. I'm sure someone will buy it," said user quipped.

As reported by CNBC News, Most Valuable Promotions, said that more than 121,000 fans have signed up for presale access prior to the tickets officially going on sale on Thursday (May 17) - so someone is bound to fork out the big bucks.

Guess we'll have to wait till July 20 to see.
