A teacher whose Instagram was deemed ‘pornographic’ has won a stand-off with the school.
Mindi Jensen was told to take the pictures down, make her account private or face the sack, after a pupil’s parent viewed her images. The school claimed the photos were ‘inappropriate’ and ‘pornographic’, the Daily Record reported.
The bodybuilder initially complied with their demands, making the account private, but she changed her mind after saying women had contacted her to say the images were inspirational.
Mindi told her bosses at the school she wouldn’t comply with their demands, and they withdrew the ultimatum.
The fitness model told the Record:
Why am I taking this picture off, I get comments and messages that its inspirational to them and these women like my story.
If I put it to private, it’s not going to reach these people that might need and understand me.
North Sanpete Middle School, in Mount Pleasant, Utah, released a statement saying it plans to host a training event for parents on ‘appropriate student internet usage’.
