Gypsy Rose Blanchard's estranged husband Ryan Anderson files restraining order against her

Ryan Anderson has teased we'll find out 'what really happened' during their split in a new Lifetime documentary

It appears as if Ryan Anderson and Gypsy Rose Blanchard's split is turning sour.

Blanchard, who was released from prison on December 2023 after serving eight of her 10 year sentence for plotting her mother's murder, wed Anderson in July 2022.

The pair had put on a united front during Blanchard's time behind bars, and continued to do so upon her release late last year. However, their marriage seemed to break down shortly after, with Blanchard announcing their separation online.

In a post on her private social media page as seen by People magazine last month, she said: "People have been asking what is going on in my life.

"Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou.

"I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am."

The ex inmate has since filed a temporary restraining order against Anderson, 37, with him now doing the same against her.

According to court documents, Anderson filed the papers on April 11.

The reason for their separation remains unclear, but Anderson has teased that people will find out 'what really happened' eventually.

Speaking out via TikTok following his split from Blanchard, Anderson told fans: "I just want to thank everyone for the support, it's been great. I'm just living my life, guys."

He added: "Y'all will see what really happened on Lifetime. We were filming a lot. So stay tuned for that. [...] I will post more stuff eventually, I'm just hanging in."

Blanchard has her own reality TV show called Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, which is expected to document her relationship with Anderson.

The series is expected it premiere on Lifetime in June this year.

Elsewhere, Anderson alleges that their break up 'came out of the blue'.

Speaking out on rumors of Blanchard's reported rekindled romance with her ex, Ken Urker, Anderson told MailOnline: "I'm not doing well with it. For me it just came out of the blue. I had no idea she still had such strong feelings for him."

Blanchard, meanwhile, has said she and Urker are just friends.

Anderson went on to insist that he's keeping their puppy Pixie, whom they adopted together in January.
