A number of viewers have branded today’s episode of This Morning ‘soft porn’ after it featured an interview with an ‘orgasm doctor.’

Dr Andrea Pennington appeared on the show to speak about the health benefits of regular orgasms, reports the Daily Star.

She encouraged people to try and have at least three orgasms a week, saying that they are an effective form of  stress relief, can lower the risk of depression and anxiety and even relieve pain.

Phillip Schofield was extremely interested in Dr Andrea’s advice, asking: ”Is it about her partner finding the right buttons to push?”

However not everyone was as keen as Phil, with many viewers apparently shocked by the ‘adult’ content of the mid-morning show:

Given their track record – a lot of people were impressed that Holly and Phil managed to keep straight faces throughout the segment:

A survey undertaken by the show saw that one in twenty women have never had an orgasm and one in three have had an orgasm this week. Shockingly, it also revealed that three per cent of people actually feel guilty for having an orgasm..

The doctor also revealed that 90 per cent of orgasms come from a woman’s head, saying it’s actually possible to achieve orgasm without touch – which she calls a ‘think off’.

So, since we learned something, it was an educational segment really…
