One grandmother from San Antonio, Texas, went from thinking she had won a prize to being caught up in a drugs scandal in the space of a few hours.

Cynthia Rodriguez was eating a granola bar when she found a small bag with green dollar signs emblazoned on it, and thought that she had won a Willy Wonka style prize, only to call the manufacturers, General Mills, to claim it and be told that she needed to contact the police. Immediately.

It turns out that the bag was actually full of cocaine, and while at first reading it seems like quite a funny error, when you consider she had three of her grandkids with her – or the fact that a kid could’ve opened the bar and found the coke, it becomes very disturbing indeed.
