A Florida mum is battling body shamers everywhere with a curvy nude picture that’s supposed to help women ‘feel good in their own skin regardless of weight or pants size’.

Army veteran Christine Blackmon’s nude selfie comes in response to Playboy model Dani Mathers’ controversial Snapchat of an unsuspecting naked woman.

The cruel model tagged the snap of a stranger using the shower in her gym, along with the caption: “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”

When Christine heard about the Playboy model’s heartless actions, she decided to post her own nearly-nude photo in solidarity with the shamed gym goer.

On July 16, Christine posted the photo and wrote an open letter to Dani Mathers where she scolded the model, saying:

You may have been a Playboy model but not all of us work out to be “hot”, some of us work out simply to honor the bodies we were given.

Shame on you. I bet I could get 100s of women to post their beautiful bodies and regardless of size, shape or color, they will ALL be more beautiful than the ugliness you showed in that post.

As a mic drop, she then introduced Dani to her ‘5’10”, 194lb lumpy, bumpy glory’ with the nude photo, and captioned it ‘#UnSeeTHIS’.

The post has since been liked more than 43,000 times and shared over 5,000 times by other users moved by her words.

Meanwhile, Dani deleted the image amid growing backlash from angry fans. She was also suspended from her radio show job and banned from all LA Fitness locations.

Gym officials even went to the authorities about the incident but it’s unlikely Dani will face criminal charges because the woman she victimised hasn’t come forward.

Mathers has now apologised for the picture, saying: “I’m sorry for what I did… I need to take some time to myself now to reflect on why I did this horrible thing.”

She also deleted her Instagram and Twitter accounts, so it seems that Christine may have won her battle with the body shaming model.
