A Brazilian model was ‘creeped out’ by the owner of Maxim‘s behaviour on a recent nude shoot, when he ‘hung around on set’ for the whole thing.

Alessandra Ambrosio, a model and actress, posed for a nude cover photo for the new issue of the magazine, and apparently Sardar Biglari, who purchased Maxim back in 2014, insisted on being there.

The 38-year-old investor was present throughout the two-day shoot in Monte Carlo, according to one insider. At one point Ambrosio reluctantly agreed to pose for a photo with Biglari on the balcony of the hotel – on the express condition it was not to be published in the magazine, The New York Post reported.

The photo – with Biglari dressed in white puffing a cigar – found itself into the magazine, though, splashed on a two page spread with the headline ‘A View to Kill’.

An insider said the Iranian-born investor spends a lot of his time in Monte Carlo, and had been bragging about the shoot to staffers.

Ambrosio’s spokesperson, Milos Blagojevic, told Media Ink she had no issue with the nude cover shoot, which was taken by renowned fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon, adding, “She tweeted it on Instagram.”

When Blagojevic was asked if his client had an objection to the photo of her and Biglari being released, he responded: “We have no comment on that.”

The photographer, Bensimon, denied there was an issue between Ambrosio and Biglari, saying in a statement released via Maxim:

In absolutely no way did the described situation occur. Alessandra was a dream to work with and enjoyed the photo shoot. She was incredibly pleased with both her cover and the spread.
