One teacher has caused serious outrage after telling his 10th grade class that they could get some extra credit – by going into their parents’ room and looking for sex toys, and then taking selfies with them.

Wing Wah Leung apparently suggested it as part of an extra credit assignment for his geometry class, and after several horrified parents complained to the school, he then tried to pass it off as a joke – although quite if that is the kind of joke he needs to be making remains to be seen.

One mother spoke to CBS and claimed:

From what I understand, a student actually did it and he used that as an example of what it should look like for the other students.

I mean, putting aside the fact that the teacher seriously should not be asking kids to do that as part of a school project, imagine how awkward it would be for the kids to go through their parents’ draws and try to find condoms (especially when we operate on the assumption that our parents absolutely do not have sex) let alone a vibrator.

The school in Alameda, California have not yet sacked or suspended the teacher, but have undertaken an investigation, which they hope to have concluded by the end of the school year, and have stated that they are taking the allegations ‘very seriously’.
