There’s an arty club in Denmark that wants to hire someone to watch porn as a full time job.

The Hornsleth Bar, in Aarhus, posted the advert online, offering a colossal amount of adult movies, as well as numerous log-ins to a whole catalogue of porn sites for one lucky applicant.

And that’s not all – the new employee, who will be known as a PJ (Porn DJ), will also earn a salary of £2,350 per month for sitting through 20 hours of hardcore action every week, reports the Daily Mail.

As you can probably imagine, the response to the advert has been absolutely gigantic, with thousands applying for the professional porn watcher role.

But the job does seem quite repetitive, as the PJ will have to choose between 50-60 hours worth of porn noises to be played continuously in the club – and the owners of the bar say they do not just want to hear a woman’s moans.

They said:

But we don’t want the sound to be the same woman screaming all the time or for the audio to be looped, that’s why we need someone to watch as much porn as possible and edit the sound from the film.

As a DJ, one must mix an entire evening’s worth of audio files. There must be different sounds depending on the time and mood.

The whole point of the bar is to make anything free, including sexuality.

Personally, I can’t tell if this sounds like a job straight out of a dream world, or like something from a dystopian ground-hog day existence. I really can’t.

The thought of watching 20 hours of porn a week seems pretty damn monotonous.

Although the bar added:

Art galleries are always boring. You stand there drinking cheap white wine and feeling depressed.

We want to show art and party. We call it smarter drinking, drinking with a content so to speak.

An intellectual bar in some ways.

Good luck to anybody applying.
