TN1101 Wild Party In Dundee Ends Up With A Guest Snorting A Dead Womans Ashes

Somebody snorting stuff at a house party is not uncommon. Just, it’s not normally a dead woman’s ashes.

I snorted crushed up Refreshers in school once. I burnt my nose and made my eye water. That’s as far as my snorting career goes, it’s never interested me. And I CERTAINLY wouldn’t ever consider snorting one of my mates mum’s ashes.

But Jacqui Tierney of Dundee watched on in horror as a party guest took her mothers urn off the mantlepiece and had a line.

STV News reported:

“She just took the ashes from the top of my unit and started snorting them. My friend witnessed the whole thing and decided I should be told.
“I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. What would make someone do something like that?
“My mum meant the world to me and, apart from anything else, how could someone do something so disrespectful?”
She added: “I decided to challenge this person about what they had done but she ran away out of my house and I haven’t seen her since.
“She has tried to contact me by phone but I haven’t seen her since. I don’t know what I would say to her but I know she will never set foot in this house again.”
The incident was witnessed by a family friend of Ms Tierney’s.
The friend, who did not want to be named, said: “I was shocked and disgusted. We had all been drinking and she just seemed to think it was fun and showing off about it.
“It’s worse than jumping on someone’s grave. It’s so disrespectful to the memory of someone’s mum and gran and I can’t believe it happened.”
Ms Tierney added: “After mum was cremated I scattered some of her ashes in a favourite spot but kept a small amount back to make into jewellery.

This seriously is next-level.
