Have you seen what our friends in other countries have available to them at McDonalds?!
It’s a big McWorld out there – 69 million people across more than 34,000 countries are McFans.
And here are some of the craziest, most amazing meal options that are out there..
We’ll start you off close to home. First up it’s Italy so there has to be pizza. We bring you the Pizzarotto, a margherita calzone. But, more than that, if you just fancy a snack, why not get a bar of Parmesan? Yes, a whole bar of Parmesan.
Again, the Germans prove they are masters of efficiency by seamlessly combining our two favourite things in burger form: fried chicken and curry.
Here’s the Greek Mac, a variation on the Big Mac but with pita bread and tzatziki sauce. A disappointing lack of olives and feta though.
All hail the McKebab. What every drunk person in every city in the world is seeking at precisely 11.30pm on a Saturday night.
5. Saudi Arabia
The McArabia. It makes the list purely on the strength of its name. Garlic sauce sounds good too.
6. Hong Kong
Not only does Hong Kong McDonald’s have a 24-hour delivery service (how far do they deliver we wonder?), but they also do sausage ‘n’ egg twirly pasta soup stuff for breakfast. Sounds good, no?
Why can’t we indulge in the charisma of the Maharaja Mac? Why? Life deals us another hard blow.
They do McSpaghetti! Oh, McDonald’s, you’re just too good. FYI, you can also get a Black Forest McFloat for dessert here and, occasionally, curly fries.
We’re not sure how we feel about chicken in porridge for breakfast. But if McDonald’s says it’s so..
If you’re fed up of all those beef patties, then you can get a pork burger in Thailand with Teriyaki sauce, lettuce and mayonnaise. Don’t drool on your keyboard. Incidentally, you can also get the Mega Mac, a double Big Mac, here all year round. And then there’s dessert:
Maccy D’s, in their infinite wisdom, think ham and egg pie is an acceptable dessert item. Alright, we’ll go with that.
Japan also gets a World Cup burger with a soccer ball bun and everything (as do various other random countries). Why don’t we have a World Cup burger? More importantly, why doesn’t Brazil get a World Cup burger.
Speaking of Brazil, it’s one of the many countries around the world where diners get to have the CBO burger whenever they want. It’s a classic with chicken, bacon and crispy onions – and IT’S SQUARE, which makes it even better. We hear tell that this burger once came to our shores, in happier times gone by.
