He might chat a lot of shit about his opponents, but it seems Conor McGregor can be quite a nice guy to his fans.
The UFC Featherweight Champion has been painted in a rather poor light by some, because who’d have thought that comparing yourself to El Chapo and trash-talking every other UFC fighter could make you look like a bad guy?
But if this latest incident is anything to go by, he treats his fans with a lot more respect than he does his opponents.
‘The Notorious’ made a surprise appearance in Galway, Ireland ahead of his UFC clash with Rafael dos Anjos next month, with hundreds of his fans filling the streets to greet him.
Among the chaos, he managed to give one fan special attention.
Sinead Nora McGrath tracked down the UFC superstar and told him her boyfriend was in a wheelchair and in a car not too far away.
So McGregor linked up with her and got his security to walk them to the car, managing to grab a few photos together and have a five minute chat, despite his security trying to rush him to leave.
Speaking to The Irish Mirror, she said:
He was being rushed by his security team quite a bit but he made a massive effort to ignore them and chatted to us for over five minutes. We were so pleasantly surprised at the huge effort he made to meet us and how extremely friendly he was. We’re still in shock from all the attention this has gotten.
They had a bit of a laugh and a joke, after they told him about a video Steven had previously recording calling out McGregor – as you do.

The photos have been viewed tens of thousands of times since they were posted on the early hours on Sunday morning. Respect to McGregor for taking the time to do this!
