A letter written by Tupac Shakur whilst in prison has gone on sale via an online auction house, and it could be yours for the princely sum of $225,000 (£148,545).

The five-page document was addressed to Nina Bhadreshwar, an employee of Death Row and editor of Death Row Uncut magazine, in 1995 when the document was penned.

The brief essay reveals some big statements of intent from the infamous rapper, who claimed that ‘thug life’ had become ‘dead to him’.

Moments In Time are advertising the memoir as the rapper’s advice for black youths in America.

It serves as a very clear insight into Tupac’s mindset at the time.

He died less than a year later in a Las Vegas drive-by shooting.

“A True Boss Playa knows when to advance…. U must play the game, not let the game play u,” I sense that line could be on t-shirts very soon, hopefully it will not be used as tenuous support of a conspiracy theory.
