I have been to LA and it was incredible. I wish I got to see it from a helicopter, though.
Vincent Laforet is a photographer that has taken pictures of the city from 10,000ft, and they are amazing.
Pilots of the helicopter Laforet was in told him how lucky he was to get such a crystal clear night, because there is usually a thick layer of fog over the city.
When flying in to LA the main thing I noticed was just how much the roads look like a grid. There were barely any bends in the roads and it was square after square. It’s something we don’t really have in the UK.
Laforet has done photograph series’ in LA, Las Vegas, New York and San Francisco, but is planning on coming over to Europe to do similar shoots.
