Being a porn star in the public eye must be hard work.

The lines between a porn star as a sexual fantasy and that person as a human being becomes blurred and the public seem to forget what are acceptable things to say to a person.

At least that’s what you’d assume if you saw porn star Summer Brielle’s DMs, where people send her all kinds of abusive messages.

It turns out you actually can see them, as she posts them on her Instagram for the world to see, and according to Vice she sometimes tags the messenger’s girlfriend, wife, or parent, to show them what their loved one gets upto online.

And some of her responses are brilliant. Chris Nieratko writes on Vice:

My hands-down personal favorite post she’s ever made, the one I always use in my sales pitch to get my friends to follow her, is the time when a scruffy and stoned-looking kid named Cesar sent her a selfie with a pink arrow pointing to his mom, passed out on the couch in the background. His message read: “I’m 25 and I live at home with my parents. Can we screw. They are out of town this weekend. That’s my mom on the couch.” Brielle then reposted his photo, tagging his mom with the comment, “I asked your mom for permission. Lydia? What do you think?”

And here are some more:

Good talk.
