Personally, wanting to look like a dragon isn’t really my thing – but, hey whatever floats your boat.
Meet Eva Tiamat Baphomet Medusa, who prefers to be called ‘it’.
It is a a 55-year-old transgender former banker from Arizona who recently had both ears removed in an attempt to actually become a dragon.
It was born Richard Hernandez, it became Eva Medusa, and now it’s becoming a dragon – all in its quest to become a mythical beast.
Going under the name the ‘dragon lady’, it’s no secret that Eva’s had numerous personas over the years which have led to many, many different operations.
According to the Daily Mail, it has had tooth extraction surgery, horns implanted on its forehead, its nose modified to resemble Voldermort’s, scarification on its face and chest to resemble reptilian scales, its tongue split, and a shed load of tattoos (including a full face of ink).
According to Eva, it has over 95 per cent of its body coated in replica snake scales.
It also made the decision to have no gender by having its penis removed through a procedure called a penectomy, as well as castration which involves the removal of the testes – and it doesn’t plan on having any replacement female sexual organ put in its place.
But only now has it claimed to be the first and only person to have both ears cosmetically removed as part of its ongoing quest to become a ‘dragon’.
My permanent full name is Eva Tiamat Baphomet Medusa, and I prefer to be referred to as an ‘it’, instead of ‘she’ and ‘her’. However, I won’t turn anyone into stone if people happen to inadvertently slip. I am morphing into what I call my true form as a once-mythical dragon.
When asked about spending over £24,000 on surgery, it said:
What I like about body mods is everything from the aesthetic appeal, the sexual pleasure, the shock value and most important of all, personal gratification and spiritual significance.
And of course the pure pleasure of randomly scaring people when I’m out and about or during Halloween is a huge plus for me. My mods are necessary and I need them to be able to feel whole.
On its website, Eva writes:
I am the Dragon Lady, A pre-op M2F (male to female) transgender in the process of morphing into a human dragon, becoming a reptoid as I shed my human skin and my physical appearance and my life as a whole leaving my humanness behind.
Once a Vice President, Client Manager at J.P. Morgan Chase Bank’s Corporate Banking Division, in Houston Texas, Eva is now a semi-retired artist and founder of the global organisation MOD World, where it spends its time raising awareness around body modification and transgender issues.
This isn’t the first instance of this kind of surgery – last year news broke that a man from Bristol had his ears removed to get closer with his two pet parrots.
So long as you’re happy Eva! You keep doing you.
