The step mum – forever the evil villain in any divorce story.

The cliche anger and hatred from real mother to the step-mother is being questioned by this forward-thinking mummy who is setting an example to everyone.

Completely secure in her own relationship with her daughter Riley, Audrey Loving wrote a thank you letter on Facebook to the girlfriend of her ex-husband for treating Riley as her own.

Audrey split from Riley’s father after long-distance got the better of them and she has full custody of their daughter, and he visits and takes her away at the weekends.

While Riley is with her father, his girlfriend ‘feeds her, takes care of her, buys her gifts, and basically takes care of her like her own’ for which Audrey is really appreciative.

Riley came from a mixed family with step siblings, so understands how positive it can be to love and welcome new members of the family.

Love More, Hate Less“Love more, hate less” is something we could all use a little bit more of right now.

Not many people are so open-minded, hence the evil step mum character, but Audrey questions this. saying:

Why do all these moms act so spiteful and jealous towards the other women? NOONE said it was easy trying to be a mother to a kid you didn’t have. So when there is someone trying, don’t push them away!

NOONE said it was easy trying to be a mother to a kid you didn’t have. So when there is someone trying, don’t push them away! Because they DON’T need the drama they WILL leave and then you’re stuck with someone who is the evil step mom.

Yes they exist! I see them everywhere! A kid can have two moms because in my eyes the more people that love her I’m happy! I would never make her feel like an outsider; I’m extremely thankful for this girl.

Ladies, grow up and focus on being a good mom.

This mummy has her priorities straight and is encouraging the best moral…to ‘love more hate less’.

More than 8000 people viewed her post and the response has been incredibly positive.

Preach!
