You may not have even realised that legendary lothario and comedian Russell Brand was in a relationship – but it’s just gotten pretty serious.

His girlfriend Laura Gallacher, 27, is five months pregnant, according to The Sun.

The couple have only been living together for six months – meaning things are moving pretty quickly for 40-year-old Brand.

However, a friend told The Sun:

Russell might have bedded many of the world’s most stunning women but now it’s all about Laura Gallacher and becoming a dad.

If Laura’s name sounds familiar that’s because she’s the younger sister to TV personality Kirsty Gallacher.

Apparently, “He and Laura are thrilled to bits at the prospect of becoming parents. They have shared the happy news with close family and friends.”

Lets hope constant toil of being a parent doesn’t hit the star too hard. He’s been very candid in sharing stories from his rather decadent past as a former drug-addict.

Russell has never shied away from sharing his many celebrity conquests over the years. His ‘little black book’ includes; Kate Moss, Courtney Love, Big Brother star Imogen Thomas and former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell to name but a few.

A tryst with model Georgina Baillie in 2008 ended him in hot water after he called her grandfather Andrew Sachs to tell him all about it. You may have heard about that at the time.

This baby announcement isn’t the first time Russell has tried to settle down. In 2010 he married singer Katy Perry in a lavish ceremony. But the marriage lasted just 14 months, before he dumped her via text message. Brutal Russell, brutal.

Let’s hope he really has changed his ways for good.
