Michael Buble’s sister-in-law sent a heart-breaking text to a journalist explaining that Buble’s eldest son Noah is not suffering from leukaemia or a cancer affecting the central nervous system.

Michael and his wife made the tragic announcement on the singer’s Facebook page, saying they were ‘ devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US’.

Daniela Lopilato, revealed to an Argentinian journalist that the entire family was ‘broken in half’ and asked that people do not speculate.

Journalist Tomas Dente read out the text from Daniela on a morning TV show. It read:

To tell you the truth I’m devastated. This is very recent.

The only thing I ask is that you don’t speculate because not everyone has children and can understand what this means.

Michael and my sister will publish more statements and I can’t say anymore.

But it’s not leukaemia or the central nervous system as people are saying. It’s all I can say.

Luisiana, Michael’s wife of five years and mother of their two children, released a statement asking for people’s prayers.

The couple said:

We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.

In a recent interview, Michael expressed ‘I love them more than I’ll ever love anything, or anyone in the whole universe.’

This is absolutely heart-breaking and our thoughts are with Michael and their family.
