If you’re an Arsenal fan, this summer hasn’t been the best so far.
It all started well, when Granit Xhaka signed from Borussia Moenchengladbach before Euro 2016, and it looked like Jamie Vardy was going to join from Premier League champions Leicester City.
That move soon went down the shitter, and Alexis Sanchez was also injured during the Copa America final and looked like missing the start of the new season.

But now, Arsene Wenger has finally given Gunners fans some good news – Alexis Sanchez is recovering well from his ailment and may be back for the season opener.
Arsenal are currently on a pre-season tour of the USA, with Alexis left behind, but Wenger insisted the injury is healing well:
Alexis will not go because he had an ankle injury.
That is not too bad but I will leave him behind.
Wenger also confirmed that defender Gabriel is not on the tour because he has tonsillitis, and the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud are all excused after their Euro 2016 efforts.
Takuma Asano is on Olympic duty with Japan, but Jack Wilshere is included as he didn’t do enough with England to warrant any extended rest.
Arsenal face an MLS all-star XI in San Jose on Thursday, before kicking off their domestic season against Liverpool on August 14.
Wenger will be hoping Sanchez’s ankle recovers well enough for the inevitable battle for fourth place.
