A business that was delaying the build of Tottenham’s £400 million stadium was engulfed in flames last night.
It took six fire engines and 35 fire-fighters to extinguish the fire that happened directly opposite the stadium on White Hart Lane.

The fire came as the business was challenging the government’s recent decision to allow Haringey Council to issue a Compulsory Purchase Order on their property.
Business owner Josif Josif, 46, suspects foul play after claiming he received threats from Tottenham fans over his refusal to vacate the site.
Josif, who is a spurs fan himself said: “People were calling us and threatening us and we were receiving bomb threats and that started a few months ago, but we don’t know if that’s got anything to do with it.”

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club cannot start work on the new stadium until the metal business is relocated. Fortunately there are no reported injuries following the fire.

But what do you think? Was this just weird coincidence or part of a plot?
