Germany have absolutely destroyed Brazil 5-0 in the first half of their 2014 World Cup semi-final.
The score going in at half time was staggering, after complete domination from the German side.
It all started in the 11th minute, after a relatively even start. Thomas Muller netted his 5th goal of the tournament to take Germany 1-0 up.
Then just over 10 minutes later, a record breaking goal flew in from the boot of Miroslav Klose. A goal that crowned him the all-time record goalscorer in World Cup history.
It only took 2 minutes for the Germany hat-trick when Toni Kroos hammered it in from 20 yards and then tapped in his second, and a FOURTH for Germany just 2 minutes later.
5-0 anybody? You betcha.. Sami Khedira sweeping home this time to score yet another incredibly easy goal.
It’s safe to say, Brazil are now out of the World Cup, and the second half could prove to be another record breaker.
One thing isn’t for sure, this isn’t the Brazilian team of yesteryear.
