Ahead of the Euros, Roy Hodgson and the England squad were dealt a blow after the injury to Jack Butland, but luckily there are plenty of other keepers to call upon.
Joe Hart will be continuing his role as England’s number one between the sticks in France, after a campaign that may have been disappointing for Manchester City, but showed once again why Hart is vital to the club – not to mention a very good goalkeeper.
In the Champions League, Hart shone, being a major reason behind City’s route to the semi-finals.

He will be looking to continue in a similar fashion once the squad get to France, and there’s plenty of competition to keep him on his toes, and step into the mantle should he get injured or suspended.
We might even see Butland if the Stoke City keeper gets his way, stating he wants to visit the squad in France, despite not being able to play, showing how strong the spirit in the camp is.
