By now, it’s pretty safe to say that the concept of loyalty in football is about as realistic as the thought of Ashley Cole going a day without checking his bank balance.
After seeing Raheem Sterling up and leave for Manchester City, Fabian Delph’s decision to stay at Aston Villa was a breath of fresh air – or so it seemed.
Less than a week after the player claimed he was happy to stay at Villa, he has apparently been spotted having a medical at Manchester City – and the internet had something to say. Quite a lot, in fact.

I will see you a Raheem and raise you a Fabian…

What is Delph playing at?! He's Captain playing week in week out and playing for England? Scott Sinclair all over again.

Does anyone know what is going on?
Just imagine the scenes if Delph has done a U-turn on his U-turn ?????

From Milner and Lampard to Sterling and Delph. This is a major improvement.
