Liverpool are about to hijack Manchester United’s move for Arturo Vidal from Juventus by matching their £42.5million bid.
United have made Vidal their top transfer target over the past month and reports today suggest that the club were confident of landing him with a mega bid this week.
However, the Chilean press now report that Liverpool have firmly entered the race, and will offer the same amount for the player while also being able to offer Champions League Football.
El Mercurio says Real Madrid are also in for the player but don’t have the funds after their recent spending spree, leaving just Liverpool and United in the race.
It’s getting interesting…
