Bellator fighter Jordan Parsons has had a leg amputated after he was hit by a car in Delray Beach, Florida yesterday morning.
As reported by MMA Fighting, doctors were forced to remove the lower half of his right leg and, according to teammate Rashad Evans, Parsons is now in a coma.
Evans, who is also affiliated to the Florida-based Blackzilians team, took to Instagram to show his support for Parsons.
Parsons was due to fight Adam Piccolotti at Bellator 154 on May 14, but it is expected Bellator will now pull the fight without seeking an alternative opponent.
The promotion also released a statement on the incident and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
