Tyson Fury is a very confident guy. He thinks he could take on UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez. Bless him.
Yup, that’s right. Fury thinks that he could beat Velasquez in a fight. Got to admire his self-belief.
He may be deluded, but at least he’s confident.
Speaking to WHOAH TV, Fury said:
Tell Dana White to bring Velasquez to me and I’ll knock him into next week. As I said before, they’re not on my level, they’re bums compared to me.
He’s just a 6-foot-1 fat pudding. Alright, he’s a wrestler…but that’s not match for the power and size of me. Dana White knows where to find me – he’s already offered me a fight before – but I’ve told you, and I’ll tell him again, when he can afford me, come and see me.
Bare in mind this is the same Tyson Fury that punched himself in the face.
Dana White was at a press conference in London when he was asked about the idea of setting up Fury Vs Velasquez:
Who wants to come and fight Cain Valesquez? Oh, Jesus…
Are you an MMA fan, sir? Or are you a boxing guy? You understand what would happen to him if he fought Cain Valesquez, right? And how fast that would be over, right? Just making sure.
I genuinely want to see Tyson Fury in the UFC. He wouldn’t last a round against Velasquez, and it would be hilarious to watch.
