Everybody’s worst nightmares have just come true as all that weird shit you’ve been Googling for years can now be accessed with the click of a button…
After a steamy session on PornHub you probably naively thought that by hovering over ‘history’ before clicking delete everything would be just fine. But no. Oh no. Everything is not fine.
Apparently Google tracks every single one of your Google searches and keeps them readily available online – even your very first one, reports indy100.
Anything you have searched while logged into your Google or Gmail account remains on record at Google so if you want to have a check (hefty deleting session) then you should probably head over to history.google.com/history ASAP.
On the page there’s also a history of images you’ve searched for too.
Fortunately you can stop Google from tracking your searches pretty easily just by visiting the ‘Activity Controls’ section to the left hand side of the page.
Once you’ve clicked on that you can switch it off on the area of the page marked ‘Web & App Activity’.
But yeah, probably not a great idea to leave your laptop lying around in the near future. It could be rather embarrassing when your best bud finds out you’ve been frantically Googling for BDSM or radical ways to get a bit more girth on your manhood.
