Fancy a four-bedroom house with pink walls, blue/green carpets and friendly neighbours? The Simpsons’ house has been valued, and it wouldn’t set you back as much as you’d think.

According to a property listing published by Which? Mortgage Advisers, the real-life equivalent would actually knock you back about £150,000 (or $195,000), with you needing just £15,000 or $19,500 for a 10% deposit.

For a detached suburban house, that’s not too bad.

The listing reads:

A two-storey, detached, suburban tract house with an attached garage, basement and loft. Large bay windows feature in spacious sitting and dining rooms, with an ample 4 bedrooms including ensuite to the master. Friendly neighbours.

Friendly neighbours may be a bit of an understatement.

The listing comes as part of Which? Mortage Adviser’s ‘Fictional houses for sale’ infographic, and surprisingly, it’s the cheapest.
