Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage was pretty gutted to find out he’d lost his seat in South Thanet this morning.
However, it was comedian Al Murray’s hilarious reaction to the result announcement which stole the show.
Murray was running as a FUKP candidate in the same ward where Farage was defending his seat in the 2015 UK General Election.
Although Murray’s makeshift party received only 318 votes, the Pub Landlord clearly enjoyed his night.
Both Murray and Farage looked impressed when the number of UKIP votes were read out, but watch how both men’s reactions change when it is revealed that Conservative candidate Craig Mackinlay got almost 3,000 more votes than the UKIP man.
The Pub Landlord’s reaction is classic and, good news, it looks like he’ll be carrying on as party leader too!
