THAT episode of Top Gear has now been broadcast, and shows just what Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond had to go through on THAT drive through Argentina.
Angry citizens of the South American country believed that the reg plate of one of their convoy ‘H982FKL’, was a reference to the Falklands war, and it didn’t take long for them to start throwing rocks at the presenters cars.
By the time they were having rocks chucked at their vehicles, they had already been chased out of their hotels by angry locals and war veterans. The episode quickly turns into documenting an actual dash out of the country.
Since the incident, Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear have insisted that the plate was a mere coincidence.
