Since hanging up his boots, David Beckham has seen his off the field interests increase tenfold and while that is making him even more money and raising his profile impossibly higher, he has still found time for the odd underwear ad.
Said underwear ads were as much of a staple for him during his playing days as free-kicks, and now it seems Becks has teamed up with pal James Corden to make this absolute cracker of an advert.
Becks and funny man Corden strip down to their boxers and while the former England international looks as good as ever, Corden’s presence is a little bit mystifying – until it becomes clear the whole thing is a hilarious spoof.
With lines such as: ‘Is there a meaning to my days? That’s why I need to feel secure…’ it is clear to see Becks is trying not to break into giggles and while his acting skills are impressive, we would probably hold off on buying the briefs for now!
D&J briefs may not be real, but the advert was – and here it is in all its glory!
