This dog found a unique method of escaping the garden so he could follow his owner to work.
Most pups would just pine after their departed owner but this creative canine discovered he could use a children’s trampoline to catapult himself over a 6ft fence and give chase.
Paddy, a four-year-old labrador-collie cross, used the clever manoeuvre to follow his owner Thomas McCormack to work one day in Croy, north Lanarkshire.
I was just on my way to work the other morning and I jumped on the train and the next thing I know Paddy comes in and sits on the seat next to me. I was shocked. He just looked at me as if he was saying ‘Where are you going?’He obviously followed my scent all the way to the station and jumped in the seat next to me, that’s the only explanation I have.
McCormack said the dog must have learned the trick by bouncing on the trampoline with his 11-year-old son, Mark, and his friends.
So there’s a lesson for dog owners – next time you’re heading out to work, hide the trampolines!
