When Stacey Eden was a witness to some prolonged racial abuse, she decided to take a stand.
The 23-year-old couldn’t take it any longer after listening to an older women spouting racial abuse at a muslim couple who boarded their train at Sydney International Airport.
According to Stacey, the racist woman in question was calling the woman an ‘ISIS supporter’ because of the hijab she was wearing. However, when she questioned her and asked what the couple in question had to do with ISIS, the woman said ‘nothing’.
Clearly unable to debate and/or justify her actions she is then told to shut up by Stacey, who goes on to say ‘if you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything, simple’.
It’s nice to see people standing up against racism. Tensions are high all over the world at the moment, and people like this only make things worse.
Well played, Stacey!
