Horrifying Footage Shows Moment Two Planes Crash Mid Air

Dramatic footage has emerged showing two planes colliding in midair resulting in the deaths of at least three people. 

The two small aircraft crashed in McKinney in Texas in the early evening of December 31, the Mirror reports.

The planes smashed into each other with one coming down onto a storage unit and the other onto a main road.

The moment the two ill-fated aircrafts crashed has been caught on camera, as they burst into flames and plumes of smoke.

It has been reported that the accident happened at Aero County Airport at 5:30pm yesterday.

Sadly, police have confirmed that at least three people lost their lives in the devastation.

At this stage, there are no further reports as to whether the deceased were those flying the plane or involved in the aftermath on the ground.

A 13-year-old boy captured the terrifying series of events as he was out playing with friends and caught the sickening moment the planes hit the ground.

The shocked boy can be heard screaming in the background as he realised what he just witnessed.

He can be heard yelling:

They just hit each other. Oh my god. Oh my god.

Other witness videos show the wreckage in flames, panning around the destroyed scene.

The cameraman can be heard exclaiming:

I just don’t know that there’s any chance they could make it.

Another witness, 19-year-old Caleb Mitchell, saw the horrifying crash take place and described it as ‘like a movie.’

The Mayor of McKinney, Brian Loughmiller has released a statement sharing his sympathy for the tragic situation.

He said:

We are devastated over the tragic plane crash that happened this evening near Aero Country Airport.

Our condolences go out to the families of those who were involved and we will keep them in our thoughts and prayers in the coming days.

Our thoughts go out to everyone affected.
