The outcry from FIFA lovers that Jordan Henderson could be on the cover of FIFA 16 haven’t deterred the new Liverpool captain, and he’s now released a hilarious manifesto as he aims to win your vote.

EA Sports have decided to let the general public vote for who should join Lionel Messi on the UK front cover of FIFA 16, and Henderson currently leads the fan vote, ahead of Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero and Thibaut Courtois.

But some fans have threatened to boycott the game if ‘Hendo’ is successful but that hasn’t discouraged the 25-year-old.

Embracing the opportunity, Henderson has given a comical speech about his promises if he wins the vote, courtesy of LFC’s official Twitter account.

And next season he aims to qualify for the Champions League with Liverpool, win a trophy, score more worldies than Philippe Coutinho and, best of all, to do the Sturridge dance the next time he scores.

Quite frankly, why wouldn’t you vote for Jordan Henderson now? Make your voices heard, people!
