Every kid watches movies and listens to music they probably shouldn’t be watching and listening to.
Did I know ‘Candy Shop’ was about sucking dick when I was 11? Or that D4L’s ‘Laffy Taffy’ was full of inappropriate innuendos? No, but that didn’t stop my mum from giving me a right scolding when she found them on my MP3 Player.
Fast forward to 2016, and it’s still happening – just now for the whole world to see.
Posting to Twitter, Liv Lutz uploaded a video of her mum finding her eighth grade son’s Spotify playlist – and she’s not happy.
Hoping to jump on the computer to get some Christmas shopping done, she found some pretty profanity-laden music.
After listening to D.R.A.M’s ‘Cash Machine’ and Mr_Hotspot’s ‘My Friends’ under a photo of Jesus, things escalate when she goes deeper into the list, with her saying: “So this is what he’s listening to when he’s staying in his room and listening to his music for a whole night.”
When she gets to Kanye West’s ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1’, the ‘bleached asshole’ lyric takes her a moment to process.
But it seems like J. Cole and his banger ‘Wet Dreamz’ was the last straw. Heading over to her son’s bedroom, she gives him a bollocking every kid hopes to avoid.
Thankfully, Liv was there to catch the whole conversation go down: “This is affecting your brain. It’s freaking turning you into a psychotic person. Do you enjoy listening to the shit they’re talking about?”
Since being uploaded to Twitter Monday night, the video has been retweeted and liked a combined 184,000 times.
Luckily for us, that’s not the last of her mum. A quick scroll down Liv’s Twitter feed shows us her mum has a history of being fucking hilarious.
The caption reads: “Tbt to when my mom threatened to wear that shirt to Trader Joes bc I wore it to a party after she told me not to.”
Here’s to hoping this isn’t the last we see of this hilarious mum.
