If you’re like me, then you would have thoroughly enjoyed all of the Uncharted games up to now.
The first one came out of nowhere in 2007 and became one of the best PS3 games of all time. Seven years on, the fourth instalment is one of the PS4’s most anticipated, and this weekend (Dec 6) a whopping 15 minutes of footage was released on Youtube.
Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be available in 2015. Developed by Naughty Dog.
The new footage shows off some seriously impressive visuals (as you’d expect) and some brand new game mechanics. But it was the introduction of Drake’s older brother that have got people talking.
Naughty Dog have drafted Troy Baker to voice Drake’s brother. You will have heard his voice prominently in games like The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite.
This is going to be game of the year. I have a very good feeling about it.
