Perpetual bad-boy, North Korean leader Kim-Jong-Un, seems to be in the news, up to some of his typical old tricks, every single week.

But have you ever actually heard his voice? Nope, neither have I.

Appearing in this newly released 18-minute long clip (about 17-minutes worth is just an incredibly loud and monotonous round of applause though), 33-year-old dictator, Un, addresses the 7th Congress of the Workers’ party, while showing off his weirdly deep voice.

It’s certainly safe to say he has the voice of a dictator, although his fuhrer-esque appeal is minimised by the fact he has to read his speech from an A4 piece of paper – making him look more like a nervous schoolboy doing a reading at the front of the class rather than a mass-murdering ruler.

According to Metro, in the clip, the supreme leader talks about the party’s ‘grim struggle’, followed by their ‘glorious victory’ and so on.

But the twist in the story comes here, as many are arguing that the clip isn’t actually Kim-Jong-Un’s voice at all, but instead a very well executed piece of dubbing.

Here’s a clip from 2014 when Kim was a much younger and softer spoken leader:

Personally, I don’t think it’s all that different but, given North Korea’s history of madness and being economical with the truth, it certainly wouldn’t surprise me.
