They set up a crash mat at London’s Waterloo station for Poppy Day, and put on these demonstrations of unarmed combat. They include a Marine defeating knife-wielding attackers, as well as assailants with a cosh and a pistol, using only his bare hands – and booted feet.
The Royal Marines are among the toughest soldiers in the UK, and undertake the longest infantry training in NATO, lasting 32 weeks for recruits and 15 months for Young Officers, The Telegraph reports.
