The Serbian State Lottery is under investigation after allegations of a fix, when a winning number was shown on screen before the ball was even drawn.

The number 21 appeared on scree just as the number 27 was drawn, which could well be a technical error, and one many people would accept, but when that was followed up by the number 21 being drawn, eyebrows were raised and serious questions were asked.

Serbian State Lottery (DLS) have claimed that it was only ‘a coincidence’ but let’s be honest, it’s a massive one, and when something walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it usually is a duck, and in this case, it looks like a fix.

The lottery in Serbia is massively popular, especially among the unemployed and pensioners, and the allegations have come as a shock to many, including the DLS.

No one has come forward to claim the prize money of $1.09 million, and the lottery machine has been taken by police as an investigation gets underway.
