It’s safe to say this guy isn’t exactly a criminal mastermind.
During a live TV news broadcast about a bank robbery, a reporter was stunned when the suspect himself returned to the scene of the crime at the very moment he was speaking on camera.
If this guy was returning to land another score, he definitely couldn’t have picked a worse time!
Local reporter Adam Sallet was reporting for KIMT 3 outside Sterling State Bank in Rochester, Minnesota on Tuesday when someone ran up to him, pointing at the suspect.
Adam then, understandably, broke off the broadcast, saying: “I have to go. I have to call 911”, before the news anchor in the studio assured viewers that the moment hadn’t been set up.
As reported by the BBC, the police later arrested a 36-year-old man after pulling over a vehicle on a highway outside Minneapolis.
According to Captain John Sherwin, the suspect is believed to have robbed the same store two days in a row.
He must have thought the third time was a charm, but he was very, very wrong!
