The moment three teenage girls spent their last £15 getting a homeless man a warm blanket and food has gone viral.

The generous girls, all 13, spotted the shivering man outside a cinema, and went into a nearby Asda, spending their last bit of money buying him food, water and a blanket, the Daily Mail reports.

Natasha Osborne, Danielle McCarthy and Chloe Parker, had been out for a meal at Pizza Hut in Hartlepool. They filmed themselves giving the man the goods and their change, and posted it on Facebook in the hope that it would encourage other people to do the same.


Natasha told the Mail:

He said he couldn’t thank us enough and he hoped karma would be good to us. We put it on Facebook to try to get more people to do stuff like that. It is amazing, we didn’t think it would get this much attention.
