Film maker, Ilya Naishuller, is looking to crowd-funding sites to back a film shot with GoPro cameras.

This is possibly the most awesome use of modern technology, using GoPro style cameras to film and IndieGoGo to fund. Neither of these things would have been achievable 5 years ago. And the film looks awesome from what we’ve seen so far.

You may have seen this video a circling around the web:

But did you know that it was part of a much bigger project?

Well the same guy, Naishuller, has filmed a feature length movie called Hardcore but he needs your help to finish the post-production and release it in cinemas.

Earlier this week the same guys released a sequel trailer and holy shit do we hope he manages to get the money for it.

The film will be the first of its kind to to be released. A movie that is all shot from the point of view of the protagonist.

On the IndieGoGO profile Naishuller said this:

“Every once in a while, a film will come along that will help ‘re-invent’ a particular genre for a new generation. I believe that Hardcore has a solid shot at pulling this off”

And that’s exactly what it’ll do, if the trailers are anything to go by the film will be epic and an instant classic. The film is being described as a sci-fi action movie, and judging by what we’ve already seen it seems to involve some time travel and teleportation device.
