The Rising Tide Car Wash started off as a project by John D’Eri for his younger son, who has autism, to be able to work and find purpose.

Today, the Florida-based business is a massive success story that provides employment to 35 autistic men and women.

They opened the wash in Parkland, Florida, in 2013 and have since hired many autistic employees that suffered bullying at school. However The Rising Tide has helped to teach them confidence.

Once they start working with us they start getting positive reinforcement of doing a good job, a customer being happy, getting a tip, that really starts to open them up.
