This new species of frog discovered in the Talamanca mountains of Costa Rica looks exactly like Kermit the Frog and I’m not mad about it at all.
The bright green amphibian lives in quite neglected areas when it comes to studying and its mating call is more of a whistle than a widely recognised ‘ribbit’. This is possibly why it has been undiscovered for such a long time.
The researcher who discovered it, Brian Kubiki, says that its call is so unique that no other known species of frog sounds like it – and is the reason for justifying it as a completely new species of frog.
Now all we need is a pig with blonde hair and we have a pairing that would trip us the f*ck out.
